Founded in 2015 as a budget-friendly alternative for traveling cyclists, Transphere helps visitors enjoy Prague and its stunning surroundings safely on two wheels (and sometimes also on foot). We focus on multiple day (from Prague to Dresden, Berlin, Vienna, Budapest...) bike trips, as well as guided tours in the Prague area. 

Starting in June 2025. we run regular "free" bike tours, introducing the popular tips-based sightseeing model to cycling. Visitors join the tour free of charge and leave a financial contribution at the end, according to their experience and possibilities. The tours are for both locals, expats and visitors. You can join on your own bike or rent one from us or other local services.

The Bike

This tour is for both first time visitors and those, who have already been to Prague, even residents. It takes you from the historic district by the hip Náplavka riverside to the old working class neighbourhoods of Nusle and Vršovice, crossing parks and vineyards, to a textbook example of communist urban planning. You’ll see the home ground of the legendary football club Bohemians 1905, where Antonín Panenka (that one) started his career, visit the fortress of Vyšehrad with the nation’s honorary cemetery, before taking the bike path by the river, where the locals meet for BBQ, beers, a quick swim and all sorts of open air fun.

Praguer's Prague

Cycling from Prague to Karlštejn is a very rewarding experience and not physically challenging at all because the bike path follows the Vltava and Berounka rivers, so there is hardly any climbing required. We offer this as a self-guided tour, providing you with a map (GPS file for your mobile), itinerary and many useful tips for stops along the way. From Karlštejn, you can take the train back to Prague (every half hour), if you don’t feel like pedaling the +30k again.
